BTS Look: Interior 360×180 Vehicle Photography
Step behind the curtain and immerse yourself in the world of automotive photography with this exclusive behind-the-scenes sneak peek. As the art director of this remarkable 2017 photo shoot, I embarked on a journey featuring 55 stunning FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles – now known as Stellantis Group) vehicles from esteemed brands Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, Jeep, and Fiat. Set within an expansive airport hangar, our meticulous preparations led to a groundbreaking experience of capturing 360-degree interior photographs, also known as photospheres, 360-by-180 photography, VR photography, or equirectangular photography. Complete with hotspot tours highlighting the features of each vehicle.
Every car was thoughtfully prepared for the intricacies of this innovative photographic technique, pushing the boundaries of visual exploration. Our objective was to capture the essence of each interior from every angle, allowing viewers to embark on virtual tours and immersive VR experiences.
